We need to re-think our — What-ifs

I am saying this only because if we don’t ever question what our future can potentially be, then how will we push ourselves past our comfort zones and our true potential.

It is okay to revisit the past or your present.

What if I went with that job?

What if I never broke up with my ex?

What if I moved to another state?

All these what-if questions can come up in specific areas of your life, be it your personal, professional, romantic etc. It is important to re-visit our values and decisions. Because we know our lives are unfolding as we grow older.

I would say that staying stuck in our past or in our “what-ifs” for too long can be unhealthy. Consequently, not living the present moment and overthinking our past can lead us to become resentful of our decisions. Which most likely than not these decisions and lessons were all needed to be where you are now.

Now, it is important to take inventory of our actions every so often. It makes us wiser, gives us a better sense of self and have a deeper consciousness.

Maybe you’ve had a skill or talent that you have been neglecting to do. What could wrong if you gave it a try?

If we did not limit ourselves constantly, we would be open to so many possibilities.
